문명론

[국문 초록]
인류는 21세기에 들어서면서 전 세계적으로 문명의 위기를 겪고 있다.
현대문명, 특히 한국사회는 많은 문제점들을 갖고 있다. 오랜기간 동안 인간의 본질과 정체성과 자의식을 상실하고 있다. 따라서 동아시아와 한민족의 정체성을 모색하는 일이 필요하다. 유기적인 세계관의 발굴과 신문명의 모델을 설정할 필요가 있다. 필자는 공간적으로는 ʻ동아지중해(東亞地中海, East Asian Mediterranean Sea)ʼ와 ʼ해륙문명론‘이고, 사상이나 논리로는 ‘비문명론(Non Civilization)’을 제기했다.
동아시아 세계는 해양과 육지가 유기적인 체계로 구성된 동아지중해(東亞地中海, East Asian Mediterranean Sea)ʼ 이고, 다양한 자연환경과 문화가 뒤섞이는 혼합문명지대이다. 즉 농경의 정착성(stability) 문화와 유목 및 해양의 이동성(mobility) 문화가 만나 ‘상호호혜 체계’로 이루어졌다. 또한 문화와 나라들 사이에는 영향을 주고받는 일종의 ‘환류시스템(Circuration system)’으로 구성되었다.
또한 신문명의 대안으로 제기한 ‘비문명(Non-Civilization)’론은 현대문명을 부정하는 ‘반문명(anti-civilization)’이 아니다. 양 문명을 비판하면서도 수렴하는 ‘非(non)’라는 용어로 표현한 문명이다. 즉 거대하고 경쟁적이며 조직적인 문명과 소규모이고 자연상태와 공생을 지향하는 반문명 사이의 ‘제 3 문명’이다. 이러한 한민족의 ‘원(Proto) 자아’와 ‘비문명 모델’은 시간적으로는 한민족의 고대역사에서, 공간적으로는 유라시아 세계의 오지에서 찾을 수 있다.
Exploring the authenticity(Proto-identity), of the Korean culture and the Civilization Model

In the 21stcentury, the world is undergoing a civilization crisis. Modern civilization, especially Korean society, is facing many challenges. For a long time, human nature, identity, and self-consciousness have been lost. Thus, it requires to seek the identity of the East Asia and the Koreans. It is necessary to discover an organic worldview and to establish a model for new civilization. The author has suggested a few theories; ‘East-Asian Mediterranean Sea’, a theory of ‘Land-Sea civilization’ and a theory of ‘Non-civilization’.
The world of East-Asian is the East Asian Mediterranean Sea, which consists of oceans and land through an organic system, is a diverse civilization area where various natural environments and cultures are mixed. In other words, cross-cultural relationships of characteristics of agricultural ways (stability) and those of nomadic ways (mobility) constituted a mutual reciprocity system’. It was also composed of a kind of ‘Circulation system’ which refers to the interaction between cultures and countries.
In addition, the non-civilization theory, which was proposed as an alternative to a new civilization, is not an anti-civilization. In this theory, ‘Non’ refers to a meaning that it should be able to criticize and accept two different civilizations.
In other words, it is a 'Third civilization' between a large, competitive and organized civilization and a small, natural and symbiotic anti-civilization. These ‘Proto identity’ and model of ‘Non-civilization’ of the Korean people can be found in the ancient history of the Korean people in time and in the remote parts of the Eurasian world in space.
